An Information Day was held in Paris for the launch of EUROGIA+ 3rd Call for
proposals

Key Facts:
Innovation: French Public Authorities-DGCIS- have
started a "fast track" evaluation process by inviting French partners of
proposals to discuss eligibility for financial support as soon as their Project
Outline had been approved by EUROGIA+ Technical Committee. This is done in view
of accelerating the financial support EVALUATION process.
However, the
financial support DECISION depends on the success of that evaluation AND a
successful evaluation of the Full Project Proposal which labelling's decision is
the prerogative of the EUROGIA+ BOARD and based on the Technical
Committee's recommendation.
Financial Support requests cannot be started
before the EUROGIA+ Label is obtained.
2009 financial support: French
Public Authorities' representatives confirmed that 4 million euros are available
in 2009 for financial support of EUROGIA+ labelled projects under the form of
GRANTS.
CALL 03 schedule to be
shortened: Considering that the 2009 budget may not be used
by the projects under evaluation, EUROGIA+ envisions shortening Call 03's agenda
and label more proposals by early December 09.
